If you do just that, the law of averages says that youre going to get 30% to 50% of those old clients to buy from you. Pay the referring competitor as much as 100% of the first transaction. Show them that you could write them a cheque for tens of thousands of pounds, which they could use to pay off debt, to run advertisements, to build new clients, to add to their facilities or, to hire additional sales personnel. After they get over the shock of a competitor wanting to do business with them, many will agree to your plan. If they say no and tell you to take a wild leap, dont let that upset you say to them, Id say the same thing if someone came to me with this proposition. But let me make a point: Youve got a lot of lost assets. You spend thousands of pounds to build them. These old customer or clients are not buying from you now and probably they never will again. Every week, every month, every year that you do nothing with them, its a lost asset worth less and less. If you can convert a thousand of those five thousand customers or clients to me and I am willing to pay you 35%, 50%, 75% or, 100% of their first transaction with me I can write you a cheque for 20,000 or 50,000 or 200,000. A Little Known Way To Lose Weight Without Even Trying

By Herb Wills Now, for the first time in the history of medical science, a substance has been found and isolated about which it is possible to say: If you lay the foundation of your slimming diet on this food you should lose weight more quickly and easily than on a diet based on the same quantity of any other foods. A very good diet is one which has all the elemental vital nutrients proportioned correctly. No single food contains all the elemental nutrients we need. Different foods contain different essential nutrients. We therefore need to consume a wide variety of foods so that we obtain all the basic basic nutrients. In the west, large nutrient deficiencies are usually never seen. Our problem is that we tend to consume too much of some essential essential nutrients and not enough of others. This imbalance can lead to a number of diet-related diseases. Guidelines on good eating suggest that we consume the right amount of energy (calories) to keep us at the correct weight, eat less fat (particularly saturated fat), consume more fibre and eat less sodium (salt) and sugar. SO... WHAT SHOULD WE EAT? In the past, many pronouncements have been made saying that "Including some particular foods in a reducing diet would specifically help overweight people to shed weight more quickly and effectively". Grapefruit was a classic example. Grapefruit meals were the rage for years. More recently, in an American bestseller, pineapple, had magical weight-shedding properties. Unfortunately, all these pronouncements in the past were based on fiction rather than fact certainly not on any established medical fact! Apart from caffeine (which does have a small effect in speeding up the metabolism) no one item we eat or drink has been by scientific methods to have any realistic effect in speeding away our surplus fat. Weight loss depends entirely on the calories we don't consume. The substance is dietary fibre. Now its possible to cut your calorie consumption and at the same time increase your consumption of dietary fibre from the unrefined cereal foods and the fruits and vegetables which provide it. If you follow a high-fibre diet you should find that you are more satisfied on less calories. And more of the calories that go into your mouth will, to put it bluntly, go straight through and down the lavatory. Of course, the fewer calories the body uses from food the more it must pull from from your surplus body fat, so this adds up to faster weight loss. Another simple definition which will appeal to everyone who has ever tried to slim: More weight loss for less will power! When people consume high-fibre diets they excrete more calories in their stools (faeces). In several experiments, scientists have engaged in the task of evaluating the stools of those following high-fibre meals and have found that the calories excreted are measurably greater in number than the calories excreted by those on the normal, varied Western meals, rich in refined carbohydrate foods or, indeed, on any other pattern of eating. Tests conclude that the increased calorie content of the faeces amounts to nearly ten per cent when people follow high-fibre diets. Suffice it to say, those calories which are being flushed away are not being used by the body which means that the body is having to use more of its own surplus fat to combine in for them. So on a 1,000 calorie high-fibre diet the body is going to shed weight more quickly than on a normal 1,000 calorie diet of varied food or on any other 1,000 calorie diet. Before the high-fibre research findings it was concluded that weight loss depended entirely on the number of calories consumed compared with the number removed by the body. Now we have to factor in another addition to this simple statement.... Weight loss depends on the number and the source of calories eaten. The rate of weight loss will be influenced not only by the amount you consume, in terms of calories, but also by which foods you choose to make up that calorie intake. In recent years the evidence for the health benefits of fibre, or roughage as it used to be called, has grown so strong that it has filtered through from the medical journals and is now well known to the British and American public. Following is an example of a breakfast recipe that should add a little variety to that all important meal, as well as supplying important vitamins, minerals, enzymes and fiber. He produced many paintings, drawings and etchings that depicted scenes and characters taken from the Old Testament and Apocrypha. He also devoted his talents towards bringing to life people and places found in the New Testament, but most particularly the faces and events that pertained directly to the life of Jesus Christ. Rembrandt was a deeply religious man, and his connection to religion was a source of comfort during the dark times of his life. The period of Rembrandts religious art reveals a great deal about the artist and illustrates what inspired him. It was in the late 1650s that Rembrandt began to focus on portraits of religious figures. This was a time in his life when he and his family where subjected to great tragedy due to the death of two of his children, Hendrickje and Titus. To make matters worse, Rembrandt was forced to declare financial insolvency in 1656 and auction off his extremely valuable art collection and all of his household possessions. In an effort to find solace during these times of grief and darkness, Rembrandt began to paint religious portraits and scenes. Included in his now-famous dramatic religious art are depictions of Christ and the Virgin, the Apostles, namely James, Paul, Bartholomew and Simon, the Evangelists, Monks and Saints. Amongst all of Rembrandts religious art, one of his most famous pieces is his self-portrait as the Apostle Paul, dated 1657. In Rembrandts religious art, the faces of Apostles and Saints alike, peer out from the darkness of dimly-lit rooms. Rembrandt painted each religious characters face to reflect the burden of spiritual and also emotional conflicts. In The Apostle Bartholomew, 1657, Batholomew sits in a gloomy room painted with startlingly rich colors. The only light in the room falls on Bartholomews face, which is clearly framed in an expression of concern. Another piece that portrays the burden of worry and sorrow is the famous The Virgin of Sorrows, 1661. Again, Rembrandt makes use of vibrant colors and dim light to convey the feeling of a troubled mind and soul. Rembrandts religious art depicts the personality of an artist whose ability to create profound depth of expression in his characters most certainly arose from an understanding and compassion for these figures that goes beyond their iconic status. Physically, each character appears to come alive, and upon further reflection, one can observe Rembrandts unmatched skill to also accurately portray the state of their psychological being. For over 80 years scholars have debated over whether Rembrandts religious paintings formed a larger series. And still today, there is no conclusive evidence to suggest that the artist was working on a series of paintings of biblical figures.
