Develop Your Benefit Statement, Enlist a Cadre of Fans to Promote You

By Wayne Messick The number one mistake we all make is not fine-tuning our niche tightly enough. It's possible that if there are 100 of your ideal target prospects in your normal marketing area - you will be able to make achieve your goals for a lifetime of endless new business. By now I hope you have invested time and energy considering precisely what your ideal clients look like. Before you spend another minute marketing yourself - determine exactly who you want to do business with. Will Rogers is quoted as saying that, "it doesn't matter that you are making good time, when you are heading in the wrong direction" - so check your map (picture of your ideal client type) before you go speeding off toward oblivion. I can not over emphasis the importance of that process. Nor can I over emphasize the importance of not trying to see beyond who they are, to how much money you can make from them. The money will take care of itself if you have faith in the process and belief in yourself and the value you bring to the equation. After we have tightly identified our target audience we still face a huge marketing challenge. How can we quickly articulate the value we offer these targeted folks when we find ourselves in front of one? If we can not describe our benefit in specific, tangible, and results oriented fashion - we won't be around long enough to prove our uniqueness and value. What we need is an "elevator" speech - a benefit statement we can blurt out in 15 seconds that will cause them to pause. When they pause we have their attention, which is all we want at this point, so we can take whatever is the next logical step in the process for us. Your elevator speech can be your most powerful weapon, if you've done your homework - created the clear identity of your target audience so your statement of benefits will resonate with the people who are important to you! Now your elevator speech will effectively get the attention of the people who are important to you, people you are uniquely positioned to serve. Perhaps more importantly it will just a clearly and quickly disqualifies everyone else. In fact that is the key of an effective elevator speech. You want to disqualify everyone that does not fit your picture of your ideal client. No more wasted time with one-off clients, Every client leads you to the next and the next and the next, so it is critical that they all are taking you in the right direction. There are more than enough high probability prospects out there to keep you busy in your niche. Don't waste time and everyone the others. The more efficient you get at disqualifying the wrong people, the better you will get at uncovering the right ones. Actually they will begin to identify themselves. And those people you meet that you disqualify, well some of them will become your greatest recruiters, going out of their way to tell the people they come across that you specialize in people like them and would it be ok if they gave you their name. I have never seen anyone who has narrowed their niche too much. If you live in a small town and there are only a handful of people who represent your niche - that will do it. Each one of them knows other people just like them who live 20, 50, or 100 miles away. And we all know the credibility that automatically attaches to us when we are a specialist from afar. And those people have more friends just like them. According to the Columbia Books Directory of State and Regional Associations and Professional Societies there are 7,500 local chapters of organizations whose members share common interests. After you have determined the true nature of the people you want to work with, check it out. You will find an association of them closer to you than you think. And the member just down the street nay hold the key to getting your message in front of them. Fine tuning your target audience has other marketing benefits as well. For instance you can fine tune the places where you want your marketing message to show up. For example a trade show appearance where each and every attendee is in your market. Everyone is a prospect and everyone knows you or they know somebody who knows you or they just might be standing beside somebody who knows you. I know coaches and other professional solution providers who focus 100% of their marketing efforts in this single way. They attend the annual association meeting of their target market. They "work the room" by being at the awards banquet, the breakout sessions, and they practically live in the exhibit hall during the event. At the end of the week they have all the new prospects they need for the next 12 months - people they had never met before, people who were not ready for their services when they met them at an earlier event, and people they have been given a personal prestige laden introduction to by one of their existing clients. By the way, how many new clients do you want in the next 12 months? How many prospects does it take to get them, if they are in your target niche and they understand your value proposition? When creating your elevator talk, your 15 second description of your value proposition, remember it is all about them - what's in it for them? When you describe your offer speak their language, not yours! If you are like most emerging professionals I meet, you suffer from the inability to provide your prospects with a description of what you do that offers them tangible, understandable, and specific benefits. People will not pay money until they understand that what they are receiving is worth more than it costs, unless they are stupid. And you will not be able to make a living selling your services to stupid people. It is 100% your responsibility to describe your value, answer their "what's in it for me?" questions, whether stated or implied. To help you do that I offer a formula that has worked for many people like you and me for years. I did not come up with it and neither did anyone who claims to have done so. I first heard it on a very old record by Earl Nightingale - one he created in the '50s, and he gave credit to someone before him. Use this formula to create as many specific elevator speeches as you need, in order to address the wants and desires of your niche and its subsidiaries. It goes like this. "You know what it's like when _____________?" "Well, that's what I do." For example if your target is beauty shop owners, helping them through their many challenges - and you have just me such a person, perhaps at an exhibit of salon equipment at their annual meeting. You might say, "You know what it's like when you find you are paying more for shampoo than it costs your customers at the mall?" Well, that's what I do. I help salon owners locate sources of products at below wholesale, turning a net cost into a profit center." The salon owner is interested in that! No matter what you do and who you do it for, "You know what it's like when _____________?" "Well, that's what I do." Will get their attention. You can see how this formula can be used for whatever challenge your target audience has. If you have defined your target audience and spent the time to understand their challenges. Your homework, create elevator speeches - 45 words or less, for every situation you are likely to come up against, and integrate them into your persona. When you know them so well that your spouse can wake you up in the middle of the night from a sound sleep, and ask you - "What do you do?" and you answer them before you open your eyes, you're ready for prime time! A Small Miracle & A Lot Of Love

By Eliyahu Mitterhoff According to the Gemarah in Shabbos 21:a (Rashi) the celebration of Chanukah was decreed because the oil, which was supposed to last one day, lasted for eight days. But at the same time the Jews were saved from the total destruction of their spiritual values and the loss of their Torah in a very miraculous manner. Wasn't this a greater miracle? Let's ask another question: Our Rabbis tell us that Josef also experienced a miracle as he was being brought down to Egypt by the Yishmalim. They were carrying spices instead of carrying tar, so the that Josef would have a sweet smell as he travelled. Josef was being brought as a slave to an inescapable place of impurity and decadence, did the spices really help him? Could they change his frame of mind at such a time of desperation? The answer to the second question is yes! From these spices Josef saw that G-d was still with him and he wasn't forgotten. These spices were a ray of light in the darkness and a revelation to Josef that it was G-d himself who was taking him to Egypt. To answer the first question we need to understand that the purpose of a miracle is to reveal G-d's involvement ("the light of his face")in a given situation. It does not matter what the size of the miracle is, the main thing is that we see that G-d is with us. We know that a father loves his child not so much because he provides for his simple and basic needs but rather by the extra and special things which he gives his children. Surely the smaller miracle of Chanukah was that we were able to continue the mitzvah of lighting the menorah, but because it was smaller it revealed Hashem's love for us in a greater way. It was this small light of the menorah which announced to the world Hashem's burning love for his chosen people. Based on Sichot Mussar Rabbi Eliyahu Mitterhoff is the director of the Global Yeshiva. The Global Yeshiva is devoted to creating a warm and friendly yet serious place for people of all levels to share and discuss Torah and Orthodox Judaism. He envisions this as a great and unprecedented historic opportunity to share, learn, teach and spread Torah on a global level. Marriage

By Paul Griffitts Many questions arise in connection with this subject. Should the wife obey her husband? What should be the attitude toward an unbelieving partner in marriage? These and many related questions arise from time to time as people seek to find some set of rules by which to live the Christian life. In the first place, we do not have detailed laws today as did the Jews. We have to find for ourselves the good works which were before ordained that we should walk in them. The secret of success in the Christian life is to make ourselves available to and for Christ so that He can work thru us. Nowhere does it say that the wife should obey the husband. She is to voluntarily submit. God has said so. We must take it that this is the best course to follow. Who are we to question God? But God also has a purpose for everything He says and does. We need to be on the watch for what may be the reason. There is a mystery spoken of in Ephesians 5:32. Some, who are not careful in their reading, read into this that the church which is the body of Christ is the bride of Christ. The Word nowhere mentions a bride of Christ. The unity expressed by the husband and wife being one flesh manifests the unity of Christ and His church. This is the theme in this passage. Since the church is today manifesting the manifold wisdom of God to principalities and powers in the heavenlies (Ephesians 3:10), how well this perfect relationship of husband and wife sets that wisdom forth. It is indeed a mystery that husband and wife are one flesh, no longer two. Not only is the wife to submit, but the husband is to love. This gives a practical exposition of the unity of the one body of Christ. In this relationship where the wife is never told to obey, children and servants are to obey. But the parents have a responsibility toward the children, and the master should be careful with the servant. He also has a Master! To the world, and also to the unseen powers, the Christian home can be a manifestation of the one body and show that it does touch the earth in its walk. These truths also give new motive and zest to the family relationships. All the members of the family can feel that their duties and relationships reach right up into heavenly places where their citizenship is. Let the husband remember that his love, even though it be to an unsubmissive wife, shows forth the love of Christ for His church. And the wife, by being submissive, even to an unloving husband, can be a model of the church which is the body of Christ. The obedience of the children, even as the Lord was subject to His parents (until 30 years old!), can add to this harmony and witness. And parents can also show forth the love of the Father in heaven by loving and bringing up the children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Servants are to do service as unto the Lord, making for greater harmony. And the master should be careful with the servant, not mistreating or withholding wages. Truly the home can be a great witness to truth. Let us all remember that we are members of one another. Paul Griffitts has been a Bibical Researcher for over 30 years.

Acupressure Cures Headache With Ease

By Javier Fuller One thing can be declared with certainty. Acupressure will not create any type of headache because this process of treatment is without any side effects. It is friendly to your body mechanism from all the counts. The procedure for treating the headache through the procedure of acupressure is to convert the simple domestic procedure into a medical skill. Modern technology has come to the assistance of this massage and acupressure therapy with soft music, the agreeable lighting system, and electrical gadgets. It is experience and expertise combined together. Massage of various parts of your body is the natural outcome that has been in vogue to treat some of the ailments. What exactly happens when you rub any part of your body? The inflamed muscles get relief. Extending the procedure further, the massage technique is also used to heal injuries to cure stiffness of joints, relieve stress and relieve the headache consequently. Just the prick of a small thorn on the little finger, and the whole body responds with the sensation of pain. The acupressure system works on this principle and hence succeeds in achieving tangible results. The entire body is one unit according to acupressure. If you have headache, the acupressure therapist massages your lower back. At the end of the massage session, you will find remarkable relief for your headache. Now, come to the second important part of the human mechanism, the network of nervous system and the system situated on the palms and the feet. The related points of each body part are intelligently connected to these parts of the body and the acupressure treatment here gets you relief at the levels required. So, your headache is not the exclusive property of your head. The whole body owns it. Your weak muscles could also be the cause of your headache and acupressure therapist can pinpoint and treat it. Your modern lifestyle results in the accumulation of toxic chemicals in the blood vessels and other parts of your body. The versatile acupressure therapist recognizes the changes in the relevant point on your palm and treats you accordingly. Well, with some knowledge of theory related to acupressure along with some practical experiences you can self-treat your headache and other minor ailments. 5 Top Tips For Hosting Your Website

By Mervyn Love A website of your own is no longer a pipe dream. If you have even a modest budget there is an excellent range of low-cost hosting options available, some with free website building facilities. The advent of free hosting providers even means that a quite passable site can be within the grasp of almost anyone with an internet connection. First of all, however, you must decide where and how the site will be hosted. The key to deciding what you need in a hosting provider is to understand the nature of the website you are planning to put on the Internet. For instance, if you are posting just a few personal web pages that hardly anybody will access, a very basic, perhaps free hosting service may be just the thing for you. But before you dive in to either free or paid hosting, here are some tips that will help you avoid time wasting or costly mistakes. 1. Uptime
Simply put, uptime is time that your site is available for Internet users to access it, browse through its pages, and place orders. For you, uptime means time that you can receive orders and make money. Uptime is generally measured as a percentage - the percentage of time a website is up and available to Internet visitors. In industry terms, the more '9s' a hosting provider achieves in uptime performance, the better. 2. Security
If your website will sell goods or services then you will need to collects credit card payments and personally identifiable details from customers. In this case security is of utmost importance. In fact, your customers must feel confident that your site is secure, or you will not receive their business. Security is also linked directly to uptime. 3. Redundancy
In addition to security and standards compliance, a good hosting provider will provide adequate redundancy. In simple terms, this means means having more than one of something - multiple servers, multiple firewalls, multiple databases and storage units, etc. In other words a hosting provider with redundant servers, for example, can ensure more uptime because if one server goes down, another can takes over and do the work of the first without losing website performance. 4. Facility Maintenance and 24/7 Monitoring
To protect against disaster and other threats, a good hosting provider will maintains a locked, temperature-controlled data center equipped with fire protection and an alternate power source. The facility should be monitored on a 24/7 basis, as should performance details such as server uptime, load, traffic, etc. Monitoring should include an established intrusion detection system to guard against security breach. 5. Technical Support
The amount of technical support you receive from your hosting provider is often contingent on the amount you are willing to pay in monthly hosting rates. Some low-cost providers offer no technical support at all, while others in the low-to-mid-cost range offer email or online chat support. Some of the best hosting providers offer phone support (sometimes toll-free, but not always) in addition to online support methods. When browsing the Internet in search of a suitable provider, or turning the pages of a computer magazine, check what they have to say about these five areas of their service and keep these tips in mind before making a decision. Kabbalistic Chanukah: The Downloading of Primordial Light

By Michael Ozair God said, Let there be light, and there was light.(Genesis 1:3) The 36 candles on the menorah correspond to the 36 hours when Adam and Eve were bathed in The Primordial Light of creation. Today, as we kindle our own lights, we call forth a revelation of this now hidden and intense light. (12th century Kabbalist, R. Eliezer of Worms) The Primordial Light of Creation is hidden in the 36 candles of Chanukah. (Bnei Yissachar, Kislev) Introduction The mood of Winter shares with us the tender gift of returning to our inner wombs, where our wisdom resides and from which our destiny will once again shine forth in Divine Timing. Chanukah, the Festival of Lights invites us to turn our senses inward to find, cultivate, and rededicate our inner sanctuary. It is a time to empty accumulated garbage, to create an open and receptive space, and to cultivate an intimate relationship with our emotions as the sensory system of our soul. As we become more peaceful inside, we gather back our power, one candle at a time. The more supportive and nurturing our inner container, the more the Ohr HaGanuz, the Primordial Light of Creation becomes available to us during this time of year. Spiritually, the eight nights of Chanukah are a cumulative and progressive process through which the light of the menorah grows to reveal the inherent light of Creation. The total number of Chanukah lights over the eight days is 36 (1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8). As Rabbi Eliezer writes, these 36 lights arouse that very same Primordial Light which illuminated Adam and Eve on the dawn of their creation, the first 36 hours of their existence. The Talmud teaches: 36 hours the Light served . . . and Adam HaRishon (Primordial Man) saw with it from one end of this world into the Other. (Yerushalmi, Brochot 8:5) The Midrash teaches that this intense light needed to be removed from the universe, hidden away for a time still to be realized. All this so duality could exist and the evolution and purpose of the universe could unfold. Ever since the dimming of that Primordial Light, we yearn for it, search for it and pursue it, in our prayers, studies and meditation. Yet, even in our darkest hours, we can access this memory born of the 36 hours when we, humanity as a whole, were bathed in this light. "Where was this Light to be hidden?" asks the Midrash. It answers, "in the Torah." When we immerse ourselves in the truth and wisdom of the Torah, in its inner radiance, we can experience this Primordial Light of wisdom, purpose, and the intent of creation. The significance of the number 36 will lead us into some further deeper understandings. Gods Name Gods Name in Hebrew is Elo-him (language of Moses) Gods Name in Arabic is Al-lah (language of Mohammed) Gods Name in Aramaic is Elahh (language of Jesus) They all share a common three letter root in Hebrew: Alef, Lamed and Heh. The sum gematria, or numerical value of the three letters is 36 (Alef 1, Lamed 30, Heh 5). Torah Concept of light (in one form or another), appears exactly 36 times throughout the entire Torah (Rokayach). Moses It took Moses 36 days to explain the Torah to Israel (Seder
Olam Rabbah 10). Moses himself was born exactly 36 years after the oppression in Egypt began. When Moses was born, it is said that the house was filled with light. It is written there, And she saw him, that he was GOOD (Exodus 2:2) and there (in Genesis 1:4) it is also written, God saw the light, that it was GOOD (Talmud; Sotah 12a) Commentary to above: She saw him, that it (he) was good it being the Ohr HaGanuz Hidden Light of Creation, as a Presence that came into the world with Moses. (Shaarei Leshem, p. 130) The word in the Torah used to describe the Hidden or Primordial Light is tov meaning GOOD. When it appears in the Torah for the first time, the first letter Tet of tov (good) has a very unusual feature. The letter tet, like many other letters in a Torah scroll have tiny crowns extending from them (which kabbalists teach is a hidden language of its own). What is unusual about this letter here is that is has four crowns instead of the usual three. According to the Kabbalist, the Bnei Yissachar, when the four is multiplied by the number nine (the value of the tet itself), the total is 36. The Patriarch Isaac Abraham was a righteous person whose very life embodied the values of the Hidden Light of creation. But when Isaac was born, he was the first in history to be circumcised on the eighth day. Since eight represents transcending the physical, he became infused with all that "eight" represents (transcendence), raising him forever above the natural world. This is why he, at such a young age warranted to see the Divine Presence like his father. Contrary, to popular legend, Isaac was 37 years old when he was sacrificed. According to the mystical tradition, Isaac was a very willing and enthusiastic participant in offering himself up as a sacrifice to G-d, and that although no slaughter took place, Isaac nevertheless left his body. The event took place when Isaac was 37, for the reason that he had already reached his spiritual climax at the end of a complete 36 year life cycle. According to Midrash, although Isaac had not died physically, a part of him transcended even further beyond his earthly identity, causing him to be likened to an angel. The text says he was blind after the Akeidah (binding, sacrifice). It wasnt physical blindness he suffered from, but being blind to garments of this existence, especially the aspect of duality (this is why he was blind to his own twins characteristics, Esau and Jacob). The energy of the 36 facilitates a non-dualistic consciousness since it is a light which Primordial Man bathed in, before the Fall. Rachel and Leah The total amount of years it took Jacob to transform on his life journey was 36 (from when he left home, and then returned with his new family). (Rashi, Bereishit 28:9) Jacob then meets his soul mate Rachel (archetype of free-will), but gets tricked into marrying Rachels sister, Leah (archetype of destiny). The gematria of the Hebrew name Leah (lamed-aleph-heh) is also 36. The letters are also a rearrangement of the holy Name of God as mentioned above (Alef, Lamed, Heh). According to Kabbalah, Leah is the Biblical archetype of unanticipated destiny. She may not be what we choose to have happen to us in life, nor is she even desirable, but when she is accepted and embraced (Jacob accepted her as part of the family) it is through her that transformation happens. It is through the influence of Leah that the tribes of Israel are born and Destiny is fulfilled. It is through Leah that the seed of the Messiah is produced (through Judah, House of David, etc..) who will eventually come to initiate humanity into an Age where the Ohr HaGanuz, the Hidden Light, will be revealed. Now we look at Rachel who gives birth to only two sons. Her first son is Joseph, and the younger one, Benjamin. However, Rachel dies in Bethlehem while giving birth to Benjamin, at age 36. It was at this age, that Heaven felt she had fulfilled her life journey. Like Isaac, her grandfather, legend tells of her absolute willingness to offer her life (one incarnation) for a higher cause (in this case, Benjamin). In history, Benjamin comes to represent Jerusalem and the Holy Temple since they were both built on the tribal land of Benjamin. It also happens to be the same exact site (Temple Mount - Mt. Moriah) where years earlier Isaac was willing to sacrifice his own life. Temple Mount in Jerusalem is one of the most powerful energy vortexes in the world. It is the same site where the Chanukah miracle would take place later in history. Interestingly enough, Chanukah is the ONLY Jewish holiday that takes place in ISRAEL, and specifically on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. The story of Chanukah is hardly given a mention in the entire Talmud. Less than one page is devoted to it, while other holidays receive entire Tractates reviewing the holiday in depth and detail. The rabbis of the earlier generations tried to play down the story of Chanukah for political reasons, but it would not go away. Today, it is one of the most popular and beloved Jewish holidays, treasured especially by children and mystics guardians of the Hidden Light. When does the Chanukah Story take place in history? In the 36th Century of the Hebrew Calendar. The 36 Hidden Saints (Lamed Vav Tzaddikim) According to tradition, there are 36 lofty souls present in every generation who sustain, nurture and guard this Hidden Light. Those that guard it, remain hidden and unassuming as well. These 36 righteous people are sparks of that Hidden Light. Through their refined consciousness, this light, warmth and wisdom flows into and permeates the world. Master Kabbalist - The Holy Ari (1534-1572) Rabbi Yitzchak Luria Ashkenazi - The ARI - reverently known as Ari HaKadosh, was the lion of his and all generations when it came to revealing the depth of Kabbalah and its understanding of the Universe as a whole. Until this very day, nobody comes close to his greatness and light in terms of revealing the metaphysics of existence contained within the secrets of Torah. For our own interest here, the ARI remained hidden for most of his life, until his maggid, a non-physical guide, announced it was time for him to reveal himself. He had received his mission to reveal the hidden when he was only 36 years old. He died some 2 years later. Conclusion Our world is filled with mysteries, and it is in the darkest months of the year, that the most luminous energy becomes available. The hidden is revealed and its radiance is accessible to all those who wish to partake and be nourished by it. The Chanukah lights, unlike the Shabbat candles, may not be used for personal pleasure. "These lights are holy. We must not use them for pleasure, we may only gaze upon them" (Chanukah liturgy). For these Chanukah lights celebrate a primordial light, untouched, reminding us that there are higher forces at work. It is our connection with these higher forces that replace the false perception of separation and fear with experiences of oneness, Divine assistance and trust. In Earth school, we are in the process of learning and training ourselves to reach higher levels of consciousness. Indeed, the Chanukah lights serve as an antennae for holiness, drawing down the energy of the 36. With every day of Chanukah that passes, the light gets increasingly stronger. We place our lit candles in the window as a beacon to all passersby to remind the world that darkness can indeed be dispelled, obscurity can be illuminated, and that it is Gods Light which will prevail in the end. May the up and coming year be a new journey of discovery for us all and may we jump with all our heart into the evolutionary unknown holding our candles of faith, and common love for each other. Mattress Cleaner Tips

By Dean Cecere A suitable mattress cleaner should definitely be used for those unfortunate accidents. We do not recommend simply letting the mattress dry and forget it ever happened. Your mattress may be dry, but the odour will still linger, and the stains will surely set. Young children, pets and even adults have been having accidents in bed, and that's not about to stop any time soon. Whether it's urine, vomit or you just happen to spill something while having breakfst in bed, you should have a good quality mattress cleaner at hand. The question is what to use, and what actually works to remove those awful stains and odours. There are a few solutions out there that can be of assistance, and a variety of products that can be used as mattress cleaner that will do the trick. A few mattress cleaning products include Natures Miracle, Bane-Clene which is great for allergies, and a well recommended mattress cleaner used by the hotel industry called ProKlean seems to work very well. If you do not have any of these, there is still hope as there are a few other products that are very effective and can play the part of a mattress cleaner. A good quality upholstery shampoo usually does the job, and you can get them just about anywhere. The sooner you treat the affected surface, the easier it will be to remove the odour and stain, so if you happen to have upholstery shampoo in your home, try that. Nothing is worse than having recently spent a large sum of money on a good quality pillowtop mattress, and then finding out that your dog has just urinated on it. You always have the option to call a professional mattress cleaner, but sometimes the situation can be a little embarrassing, not to mention fairly costly. It's always better just to do our own dirty work when we can. A mattress cleaner is not only useful for accidents, we also sweat alot when we sleep, and over time, your mattress just doesn't smell as fresh as you would like. To regain that smell, there is also a practical solution. It's a good idea to first vacuum the mattress surface on both sides before you go ahead and use your preferred mattress cleaner product. This will rid your mattress of dust and mites. The Fallibility of Psychological Testing

By Ray Titus Psychological Testing has become rampant across industries, more so in
the case of Information Technology, BPOs and ITES companies. These
tests are used to throw up personality profiles and competency
descriptions that would help companies recruit the right candidate.
The Human Resources department in most organizations is responsible for
the administering of Psychometric tests. The International body that sets guidelines for testing is the
International Test Commission ( ITC ) which stipulates guidelines for
adaptation and usage of tests. ITC has issued guidelines to cover the
following Professional and ethical standards in testing Rights of the test candidate and other parties involved in the testing
process Choice and evaluation of alternative tests Test administration, scoring and interpretation Report writing and feedback. ITC has defined competence in test usage as, A Competent test user
will use tests appropriately, professionally and in an ethical manner,
paying due regard to the needs and rights of those involved in the
testing process, the reasons for testing, and the broader context in
which the testing takes place. There are many reasons why a test can be fallible 1. Inappropriate usage of Tests The norms for which the tests have been designed have to be considered
carefully. They cannot be administered to a population that is
different from the norm population ( Norm Population for example could
be, adolescents, Senior Executives; norms could be based on age,
occupation, gender, economic status etc. ). That is, a test designed
for adolescents cannot be administered on Senior Executives and vice
versa because the results of such administration would be faulty. 2. Culture Fair Testing Another common flaw is in the usage of tests which are not culture fair.
Many psychological tests have been designed for the western population
and can be used appropriately only in that culture. Unfortunately many
of these tests are used on the Indian population giving rise to faulty
conclusions. 3. Design of Test The psychological test can only be designed by professionals qualified
in psychometrics. Many a time lay people design tests using the help of
information accessed through the internet or sometimes even from their
own common sense. Such tests are not valid. 4. Validation of tests Every test that has been designed has to be validated. The process of
validation would involve administering the test on a large population
over a period of time before it is certified as ready for use. This
cannot be done from tests that are fabricated overnight. 5. Downloaded Tests Often tests are downloaded from the Internet and are used for purposes
other than for which they have been designed. For example, a
personality test being used to test the Emotional Intelligence or Team
Skills of a person. 6. Wrong Customization Sometimes the items of a test are changed to suit the user. In such
instances the test cannot give valid results. For example an item ( a
question / statement in the test ) would state
Do you usually date on weekends ? , could be changed to
Do you socialize on weekends?
to fit the Indian scenario. The results of the test with such changed
itemswill not be not valid. 7. Test Administration The test administration should be systematically standardized, i.e., the
test should be administered under exactly the same conditions to all
users. This means that the actual test environment, the instructions,
the timing and the materials are the same on every test occasion.
Before administering the test the user must consider the following
guidelines What is the purpose of testing? What outcomes will be achieved through testing? Why are these specific tests being used? Why are these tests relevant to the outcomes being sought? What evidence is there that these tests are appropriate for the people
who are to be assessed? 8. Confidentiality of Test Results All results of tests must be maintained by the administrator in strict
confidence. Revealing the results could lead to unfair discrimination
in the workplace. This happens when a test used for selection is
disadvantageous to certain groups within the organization. In the US,
the use of IQ tests in employee selection has been prohibited. This was
due to the lack of confidentiality maintained by the administrators
which resulted in employees being unfairly discriminated. At present
any psychometric test has to be administered with utmost care and after
the requisite permissions is obtained. To ensure confidentiality, the following guidelines should be
considered: 1. Ensure that test materials are kept securely 2. Ensure secure storage of and control access to test materials. 3. Respect copyright law and agreements that exist with respect to a
test including any prohibitions on the copying or transmission of
materials in electronic or other forms to other people, whether
qualified or otherwise. 4. Protect the integrity of the test by not coaching individuals on
actual test materials or other practice materials that might unfairly
influence their test performance. 5. Ensure that test techniques are not described publicly in such a way
that their usefulness is impaired. 9. Competence of Test Administrator and Interpreter The personnel administering the tests have to be strict in following the
instructions stipulated by the test designers. The interpretations too
have to be done by qualified personnel who are psychologists. 10. Limitation of tests The tests are limited for the purposes for which they have been
designed. For a holistic assessment of an individual, it is required
that the test results are supplemented by information from interviews
and group discussions. In addition the test results are not valid after
eighteen months of its administration. 11. Test Copyrights It is an offence to copy tests that have been copyrighted. They can only
be used after the necessary permission is obtained from the designers.
Otherwise this illegal copying may lead to lack of standardization in
Test conditions and poor control of materials. 12. Test feedback Often times the guidelines for feedback are not followed by the Users.
The British Psychological Society has set out the following guidelines
for written and oral feedback: Ensure that the technical and linguistic levels of any reports are
appropriate for the level of understanding of the recipients. Make clear that the test data represent just one source of information
and should always be considered in conjunction with other information. Explain how the importance of the test results should be weighted in
relation to other information about the people being assessed. Use a form and structure for a report that is appropriate to the
context of the assessment. When appropriate, provide third parties with information on how
results may be used to inform their decisions. Explain and support the use of test results used to classify people
into categories (e.g. for diagnostic purposes or for job selection). Include within written reports a clear summary, and when relevant,
specific recommendations. Present oral feedback to test takers in a constructive and supportive
manner. http://alliancebschool.org Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Ray_Titus http://EzineArticles.com/?The-Fallibility-of-Psychological-Testing&id=48811 where to purchase phentermine

A Tale of the Two Witnesses, the Worlds last Two Prophets-Revelation Chapter 11

By Matthew Robert Payne Revelation 11 1 Then I was given a reed like a measuring rod. And the angel stood,[a] saying, Rise and measure the temple of God, the altar, and those who worship there. 2 But leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the Gentiles. And they will tread the holy city underfoot for forty-two months. 3 And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.
4 These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands standing before the God[b] of the earth. 5 And if anyone wants to harm them, fire proceeds from their mouth and devours their enemies. And if anyone wants to harm them, he must be killed in this manner. 6 These have power to shut heaven, so that no rain falls in the days of their prophecy; and they have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to strike the earth with all plagues, as often as they desire. 7 When they finish their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit will make war against them, overcome them, and kill them. 8 And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our[c] Lord was crucified. 9 Then those from the peoples, tribes, tongues, and nations will see their dead bodies three-and-a-half days, and not allow[d] their dead bodies to be put into graves. 10 And those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them, make merry, and send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth. 11 Now after the three-and-a-half days the breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and great fear fell on those who saw them. 12 And they[e] heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, Come up here. And they ascended to heaven in a cloud, and their enemies saw them. 13 In the same hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell. In the earthquake seven thousand people were killed, and the rest were afraid and gave glory to the God of heaven.
14 The second woe is past. Behold, the third woe is coming quickly. Okay guys let me tell you first a little of my insanity. As a maniac and someone that if he is not on medication can be out of his mind I for many years thought I was one of these two witnesses and this led me to do a lot of thought on this subject. I am still not convinced I am not one of these two prophets and yet for a person to swallow that might be a little to much. In my years I have mused a little and I know some things as a prophet who can question Jesus on issues that He has revealed to me over time on this topic. So let me give a teaching on this and tell you what may seem to you a little fictional tale. Rise and measure the temple of God, the altar, and those who worship there. 2 But leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the Gentiles. And they will tread the holy city underfoot for forty-two months. The two witnesses will have a season where they will be sent into many churches where they will be told to observe by God what is the commitment of the people that have their hands in the air worshipping. Sitting in a church watching worship can be measured by feeling the presence of God in the building. The more the peoples hearts are sincere in their walk with God in their day to day life the more anointing will be in the building. I find it quite easy to measure the worshippers by the amount of angels I see in the building worshipping. If I go for a month and never see an angel worshipping I know that the heart of the people is not good. After church over coffee if you spend time speaking to most of the people in church it doesnt take long sharing Jesus and what he is doing in your life to find the people that love to hear about the things of Jesus and his kingdom and the other who wish youd talk about other subjects. Of course as a prophet if the Lord after a month or two at the church tells you to give the church a prophetic word of correction and the leaders of the church tell you to leave the church you know what sort of church you are in. The time is coming very soon where the Beast will turn the public, the gentiles on the Christians. Any person that isnt walking in obedience and having a grace filled life to people with no faith will be trampled by the people with no faith. But people who are lights on a hill and who are free with their compassion and grace for the unsaved will be spared. The two witnesses will tell the world what a true Christian is supposed to be like and so lukewarm Christians will have the Beast to contend with, possibly the Mark to contend with and the testimony of the two witnesses who as true prophets will be rebuking and bringing correction to the half hearted Christians in an effort to save some. These have power to shut heaven, so that no rain falls in the days of their prophecy; and they have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to strike the earth with all plagues, as often as they desire. The two witnesses will demand righteousness in the earth and speak directly to governments and warn them to make their laws to come into alignment with the Holy Laws of God and Jesus. Governments that do not obey these modern terrorists will experience the wrath of God as the witnesses pronounce plagues like Moses did on the countries in wilful disobedience. Now we all know how Australia and the USA deal with terrorist threats. Under no circumstances do they co-operate with terrorists and so these countries will see blood, viruses, disease, floods, famine, crop failure, and all manner of plagues and many people will die as a direct result of these plagues. The two witnesses will have pure doctrines that they preach and these doctrines will differ to almost every single denomination in some area. The people of the world will fear these two prophets with a fear that will simply not go away. And these two prophets will make such unreasonable demands that unless the people of a country rise up and riot in the streets of their stubborn governments the lands of superpowers will be decimated. The two witnesses will also be great evangelists and be saving millions upon millions of people. The people of the hi-ways and bi-ways will flock to them and the very biggest stadiums in the world will not hold these two prophets. The healings and the signs and wonders that these two will do will be so powerful and so unseen in modern history that the so called experts in the church will label the two the Beast and the false prophet. Yes thats right. The religious leaders of the day will be the strongest opposition to the two witnesses just like they have been to every Old Testament prophet including Jesus. And as a reward for their testimony they will be shot by snipers one day and lay dead for three and a half days. The two witnesses are alive and living today. They may spend a few years as good guys preaching in the stadiums of the world, but when they get the order from God they will rain down plagues on earth and change one third of the ocean to blood and all the rivers and water sources in wicked countries. For good guys they will be the worlds biggest baddies. For the broken hearted they will be meek as a lamb and for the self righteous Pharisees of today they will roar with the Lion of Judahs voice. They are the biggest threat to the world and half baked sinning Christians that horde wealth in these lasts days will hate them and their message. The doctrines that they will preach will be so hard to accept that many good hearted people will reject them instead trusting in the commandments of men and the doctrines of demons then the message of these anointed prophets of God. Here is one more thing I hope for. I think one of them might be a lady, a prophetess. Just as I think 77,000 of the 144,000 will be women. I think in the last move of God women are going to be anointed and covered by men but preach in power with all signs and wonders following. The first plague has already been prophesied, and its a flue virus that will be a pandemic that will take a minimum of 600 million lives where certain evil people will die of it when they get it and the good hearted will be sick but no die. I personally think almost 2 billion people will die in the Judgement and most of them as a direct result of the plagues of the two witnesses. They are going to harvest more souls from the earth then any great evangelist and they are going to bring the sickle of the harvest to the wicked too and therefore be the biggest killers in the worlds history. They are going to make people fear, and then hate and when they die there will be another Christmas celebration as people give each other gifts. Three and a half days later all the people that are still alive and who were the followers of the two witnesses and the 144,000 will go home in the rapture. I am just an unlearned man. I might be one of the two witnesses, and yet if I am not I look forward to seeing them on earth. I have no fear of the Beast or the Mark or demons. George W Bush is the biggest thing I have ever seen like unto the Beast and the church seems to love him. The church seems too blind and they are under a great delusion. Great names travel making millions preaching and selling books talking of massive revival and outpourings and peace when the storm clouds of judgement are coming and holiness is the only thing that is going to save people in these last days. Id love to hear from people that agree that this might be true and those who think this is a lot of rot and a work of fiction I look forward to the day you see your error and you repent. God bless you all. Matthew shares his heart in these articles and can be found at http://www.online-prayer.net You can read more of his articles at his link below. Rheumatoid Arthritis : the time bomb

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Martin_McDonald] Martin McDonald The beginning is very much hard to spot as we migh just wake up in the morning and feel that the fingers on our hand do not function as they should. A little of bit of movement and everything is fine. However, this morning exercise keeps prolonging as we get to a point where the exercise lasts for the whole day and the joints begin to ache. The walk is not a pleasure anymore and we are not able to hold a cup of coffee without shaking it out. So this is how it ends. Rheumatoid arthritis is practically unhealable and the condition is very fast the younger the age. Arthritis is usually associated with older people, however, rheumatoid arthritis endangers especially middle aged individuals and it is not usual to see younger aged pacients. The cause of this disease is yet not specifically know. Arthritis, the infectous inflammation of joints, is a matter of reaction of the organism to internal infection. To illustrate it a bit more, the immunity system goes nuts and attacts its own organism. In case of reumatic arthtritis, the subject of the attack are the joints, especially smaller ones. The disease is healable only if uncovered early. Rheumatoid arthritis is a disease which is very slow in its progress, undistinguished. Maybe the fact that the start of the disease is so slow and hard to spot compared to other malfunctions, makes it so dangerous. By the time you notice, it is usually already well estabilished and practically unhealable. Reumatoid arthtritis is the worst case of arthritis there is as the consequences are the hardest to take. It can cause very serious damages to joints and other organs and can lead to invalidity. There is ten types of arthritis of which the mentioned is the most severe. It attacks woman three times more than man and healing requires attention of many specialists such as rheumatologists, rehabilitation expers, balneologists as well as internists and clinical psychologists. How to Grow Parsnips!

By Terry Blackburn Growing Parsnips Parsnips are more versatile than many people are aware for they can be used in several different ways; boiled, roasted, and fried they are a delicious change from potatoes in many of the recipes where we would normally use spuds. They are really delicious made into chips or crisps with a lovely mild, slightly sweet flavour, mashed with a little butter, served on they're own, or mixed with potatoes or some other root vegetable such as carrots, they are superb. Soil Preparation Parsnips will grow equally well in heavy clay or light loam but the soil does need to be deep and well manured from a previous crop, or manured in autumn of the previous season, otherwise the roots will fork instead of growing straight and clean. Sowing The parsnip is usually the first vegetable crop to be sown each year, in the south they can be sown at the end of February, whilst it is normally the end of March in the north. If they are sown later in April, then they tend not to grow as large but they are more likely to germinate better because the ground will have warmed up. Drills should be 1in. (25mm) deep and about 15 in. (381mm) between rows. Because parsnip seed germinates badly, it is less important that seed is sown thinly. The fact that they germinate slowly does have its advantages because other quick growing crops such as radish may be sown with parsnips for when space is required for the host crop, the catch-crop (the radish) will be ready to harvest. General Care Keep the ground free from weeds but take great care not to damage the root, as they will succumb to canker. Make sure that they have plenty of water to prevent the roots from splitting and so that they are able to develop and grow well. Harvesting Parsnips are slow growing occupying the ground for several months before they are ready to lift; they may be dug up any time after the foliage begins to die away. They taste better when they have been touched by frost as this will sweeten them adding to their flavour, and therefore they may be left in the ground until late in the winter. If the ground is needed for other crops before the frosts have arrived, the parsnips may be dug up and left on the ground in a heap, where they can await the frosts. In excessively hard frosts the roots should be taken into a dry shed and covered with a sack, alternatively they can be stored in boxes of peat or Vermiculite. Terry Blackburn. Flirting Tips!

By Jack Veil The most important thing is eye contact when flirting. This is really the one single golden rule of flirting! Sounds easy, but can initially be difficult to establish for longer than a second or two. So when you next go out, find a guinea pig to practice on! Once you have decided on your target, look directly at him/her, then look away and always accompany this look with a smile. If they seem not to have noticed you, look again and this time smile directly at him/her. At first this really will be hard but once you get a reaction you will find your confidence will increase. Once they have noticed you it is worthwhile having a few lines prepared for when they come over. However, if this does not happen, despite what you thought was a good reaction to your earlier eye contact, why don't you try approaching him/her? It could be that they are feeling just as unsure as you, so it's better to try rather than wonder what might have been. When you do get to talk to them, always remember to be pleasant and smile whilst flirting - this will help put the other person at ease and also gives the impression that you are relaxed, even if inwardly you are shaking with nerves! Another piece of advice is to use the target's name often in conversation with them... People love to hear their own name. You'll be surprised how their attention is amplified by this simple act. Other tricks to let someone know you're interested: touch them a lot while you're talking to them (placing a hand on their arm for a moment to emphasize a point, that sort of thing). A lot of people feel like they need to be talking all the time in order to keep the conversation going. It's always, always better to get the *other* person talking instead. Ask the person questions about him/herself and (here's the important part) pay attention to the answers. Being listened to is sexy: give your crush your full attention and you'll be remembered for it...
