Employees - Money is Not the Only Inspiration

By CD Mohatta How to inspire employees to perform better and continue retaining their loyalty with the company? Ask this question around and the first option may be given as to raise the pay. Is raising the salary the only method of inspiring employees? Let us look at some others that can make a difference. The first thought of money and inspiration means that we subconsciously compare our employees to machines. Add more fuel, maintain and it will perform better but that is for machines. Humans are certainly not machines. If money was the main motivating factor, you would not find people working for humanitarian and non profit causes without any money in return. So when we think about motivating employees, we have to first look at them as thinking emotional beings with aspirations, their personality contradictions, and all the pluses and minuses of a human being. How does a thank you change the mood, especially when it was not expected? Thanking can change the mood totally, because by thanking we are acknowledging the good work done by some one. That acknowledgment is a big reward. I appreciate the good work being done by you and I thank for all the help that you have been to me and the organization. Send such a note once a month or so and watch the performance sky rocket. Sorry. Yes I agree that this is a advice repeated umpteen times in as many articles. But I am still writing this because we forget about it. Many times, in our frustration and anger, we tend to forget that our anger is being released on a third party. The worst part is that we forget to say sorry. Sometimes, rather than a plain sorry, we should call the employee and discuss about the problems we were facing that gave rise to our anger. Make him/her a partner in your agony and say sorry. You will get not only a satisfied employee but sometimes a good friend for life. Employees are as human as bosses are. Once employees realize that bosses are people of high character they would automatically get motivated to work with the company and for the company. Motivating them becomes difficult when we are ourselves lacking in some appreciable human quality. The golden rule should be to make yourself worthy of respect and you will not only get co-operation but a team that works for you to achieve a common goal. Good Luck. Right to Buy: Your Right to Buy Your Home

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Amanda_Thompson]Amanda Thompson Right to buy is one of the most popular policies that have a profound social impact increasing the owner occupancy. Right to buy schemes introduced in 1980 has given the right to tenants to buy their property at discounted rates. More than five million council right tenants have become homeowner through this scheme. You can be a part of the most important social revolutions of this century by endorsing council right to buy scheme. If you are a secured tenant of a local authority London borough council Housing action trust Registered landlord (non charitable) Then you are legally capable of buying the house under the Housing Act. Buying a home can be expensive. Right to buy mortgage can help you meet the cost of home. For right to buy a council tenant needs to have two years public sector tenancy. A new council tenant that is if the tenancy began on or after 18th January 2005 will require minimum five year tenancy. Before going to right to buy mortgage, calculate the amount you have to pay for right to buy. Most lenders will provide 95%-100% of the right to buy amount. To find such a lender you will be required to do some research. There will be lenders who offer specialized right to buy mortgage products. Start the day you get council right to buy offer. The time spent on research will be the time well spent. There are companies who may try to contact you with plans to aid you with council right to buy scheme. They may offer all in one packages including mortgage and home improvement etc. this may lead you to take a mortgage deal without bargaining or one that you cant afford. There may be mortgage lenders who want to tell you that buy to right scheme is nearing closure. That is, however, not true. Discounts available on [http://www.chanceforloans.co.uk/mortgages.html style=text-decoration: none]
Right to buy can be anywhere between 32%-70%. The discount available with council right to buy is dependent on how many years you have spent as council tenant and the maximum discount limit of your area. Right to buy is available for both houses and flats. For houses the discount after two years is 32% and will add 1% for every addition year of tenancy with an upper limit of 60%. Flats have discount of 44% after two years and additional 2% for every year. The maximum discount for flats will be 70%. For the 5 year schemes (tenancy starting after 18th January 2005) 35% for houses and 1% for each year spent as a tenant. The maximum limit is 60%. 50% for flats with 2% discount for every extra year. The maximum limit is 70%. There will be different maximum discount limit for right to buy in different areas. For example London or south-east - 38,000. Eastern Region - 34,000 South-West - 30,000 North-West or the West Midlands - 26,000 Wales, the East Midlands or Yorkshire and the Humber - 24,000 North-East - 22,000 A right to buy mortgage will not make sense to you if your home is sheltered housing for elderly, only temporary accommodation, or your home is provided by the company you are working with.
Council right to buy would require some documents to be filled as part of the application process. With an RTB1 form you make an application for right to buy. After that a notice form RTB2 form is sent to you telling whether you have right to buy. An important document called Section 125 tells you about the price you have to pay and the terms and conditions. This should to be read carefully. Right to buy is an opportunity of becoming a homeowner at affordable rates. It is not easy to become a homeowner but it seems like a realistic possibility. Right to buy has encouraged tenants to remain in their neighbourhood and construct stable income communities. With right to buy any individual can hope to transform his or her life socially. 5 Power Foods Of The Mediterranean Diet

By John Stevanja Embarking on any new adventure can be daunting. Just like any big trip is an adventure, so is your diet choice. Some wish to trek the Himalayas, others love the sandy sensations of Jamaica. Me, I prefer the Mediterranean. Having grown up and travelled in this fantastic area of the world, something that always resonates with me is the Mediterranean cuisine. No doubt about it, Mediterranean cuisine is packed full of dietary power. Check out these powerful food choices from the Mediterranean diet: 1. Fish: Full of protein and omega 3 fatty acids. Fish help reduce the risk of coronary disease, arrhythmia and reduce plasma triglyceride levels (Richmond W. 2001). Omega 3 cannot be synthesized by the body and that is why 2 fish meals per week can keep your heart ticking! Good sources are tuna, mackerel and salmon for example. 2. Wholemeal Pasta: Pasta is full of complex carbohydrates, especially the wholemeal variety. Complex carbohydrates help increase your energy levels, and keep you moving throughout your hectic day. 3. Garlic, Chillis & Onion: Packed full of antioxidants to fight off free radicals. Garlic is the most powerful antioxidant known to man. Combined with chillis and onion you have a fat burning trio that can be used to spice up your food. All three choices help burn fat (lipid peroxidation)and lower blood cholesterols and triglycerides. 4. Olive Oil: Olive oil is again full of monounsaturated healthy fats that help lower bad cholesterol (LDL). 5. Nuts & Seeds: Nuts and seeds like sunflower for example, are full of monounsaturated fat that helps fight the risk of cardiovascular disease. Try the above foods, that have been tried and tested for thousands of years and lose weight naturally. Copyright 2005, WWW.KEEPER-SKOOL.COM All rights reserved. Natural Allergy Cures - Which Is the Best?

By Antoinette Boulay I have spent most of my life taking pills, using nasal sprays, and puffing on inhalers to try to help combat my allergies. If I stopped these treatment, I would become sick within days. The itching, the coughing, the runny nose, I just couldnt take it. I didnt want to take the pills, but I didnt think there was another option. Well there is, there are many natural allergy cures that you can try. Instead of treating the symptoms, these usually help treat the problem, making you feel better with few to no negative side effects. Many of these natural allergy cures will also help other health problems you might have. Juices A good method to naturally cure allergies is to (perhaps drastically) alter your diet. A five day juice fast, followed by a high fruit and vegetable diet can help reduce allergy symptoms. Drinking a mixture of carrot, beet, and cucumber juice every morning can also help combat symptoms (mix at a 3:1:1 ratio). You could also try squeezing lime into a glass of water (or a juice mixture) every morning. Yogurt for Allergies If you suffer from hay fever, eating yogurt on a daily basis can be an effective treatment. Eating foods with nutrients like B5, pantothenic acid, and vitamin E can also help improve your symptoms. Or you can simply take daily supplements of them every morning. You should also avoid eating a lot of processed food with artificial flavors and preservatives. Other no-nos are alcohol, coffee tea, cola, milk products, and tobacco. There are many supplements you can take to improve your allergies. Many of these supplements allow the body to work properly, and therefore the body naturally cures allergies itself. If youre treating allergies by drinking fruit or vegetable juice in the morning, you can mix some castor oil in there to further combat symptoms. This is helpful if you have intestinal or nasal allergies. Other supplements you can try are quercetin, which helps stabilize histamine production, and tumeric, which is an anti-inflammatory. Reprogramming your Triggers There is another natural allergy cure that requires you to take no medicines, supplements, herbs, nothing! Allergies are caused because your bodys defense system is attacking harmless substances it believes to be harmful. This cure assumes that your body attacks these harmless substances because the brain is programmed improperly. The treatment includes therapy to reprogram the brain to not attack these substances anymore. A quick internet search can be done to find therapists who perform this kind of treatment. Hopefully all these natural allergy cures have given you ideas on how to relieve your suffering without medication. And unlike pills and sprays, these cures can be combined without fear of interaction. That way, you may be able to get rid of all your symptoms without having to deal with a treatment that just doesnt work well enough. Good luck and stay healthy! Creationism And Evolutionism: Two Perceptions Of The Same Truth

By Ray Rheault It seems that lately there has been quite a lot of controversy and disagreement about the history of Creation. This rivalry has been growing for years now, in communities (both religious and scientific), in our schools, and even in our courts of law. After such a long, enduring war of beliefs, one must ask the questionare they ever going to find a middle ground? Are these two views of the world so far apart that they can never meet? Perhaps those who argue are simply not willing to let them. In my opinion, based on my own observations, I believe that both of these theories hold an element of truth but are, by themselves, incomplete. I will not say that either belief is wrong, but perhaps that willing lack of bias is the reason that these two seemingly separate perspectives fit so neatly together for me. To be quite honest, I believe the only reason that these two theories have never officially met in the middle is because of their followers blind devotion to being right and someone else being wrong. (See why do we need to limit God?) Im not going to go into great detail about the personal reasons for everyones choice and beliefs; Ive mentioned them in other articles and will probably re-explore them in the future. I will, however, try to start at the beginningliterally. To do this I must make one thing perfectly clear....no matter what it is, a thought or idea, there are always two ways to look at anything. Duality is the basis of perception as much as it is the basis for our belief in how this all started. Knowing this, we must explore both perspectives and their root. Creationism: The belief that all things were created by God, completely, at the Moment of Creation. Evolutionism: The belief that all things were created over time, adapting based on the environment and the rules of survival of the fittest. The key to both of these beliefs is actually in the definition. Creationists believe God is not subject to Time while Evolutionists believe that all things are subject to Time. These are the opposing perspectivesand theyre both based on the concept of Time. Before continuing I would like to take a moment to expand on the concept of Time. I say concept because, as with our beliefs, there are two opposing perspectiveseach one valid, each one a choice. One perspective of Time is that it is Linearmeaning it started sometime (the beginning) and continues in a straight line to some other time (one would assume this means the end). This perspective is based on our observation of cause and effect and, of course, our idea of memory (more on this in future writings). However, there is another perspective of time that is equally valid but rarely examined (except for the occasional spiritualist or Quantum Physicist). This perspective states that Time itself is an illusion, that only the current Moment exists. This perspective is also based on observation but has been unfortunately labelled philosophy. In truth, one cannot prove either one of these perspectives to be true. You cannot prove that 5 minutes ago happened any more than 5 minutes from now will happen. You can try, many people have, but when it comes down to it you are always in the here and now. For example, when you started reading this article it was here and now, but youve moved forward it seems, youve progressed.and yet, youre still here and now. I hope this makes sense because it is vital to the rest of this article. So, the question remains, how can two opposing perspectives meet? Easily if one can admit that they are both true as much as false. The single biggest cause of strife or separation is our need to be correct.this need is based on our own need to feel better about ourselves and, of course, to define ourselves. In fact, without this need, one can see that all perspectives of reality are equally valid. But what do we see? In The Beginning Both the scientific community and the religious community agree on one thing when it comes to creation. They agree that it started somewherewhether you believe in the Big Bang or The Void (Genesis) the beginning is always nothingness. The Big Bang For the most part, scientists believe that all matter, broken down far enough, is the same thingin fact, this thing is not measurable and beyond description. It is so infinitely small that one could actually say it is without size at all. This energy makes up everything, living or otherwise. This energy, in its original form, is the foundation of our material reality. The Big Bang theory is simply an explanation of the steps this energy went through in becoming what we see it to be today. (For a beautifully well designed chart of the Big Bang Process, visit www.crystalinks.com/bigbang.html) Remembering the concept of Time it is easy to see how this theory came into being. One thing must follow another, and another, and so onthus, the Big Bang Theory. This theory still states that the Beginning is indescribablein essence, before there was something, there was nothing. That nothingness evolved and expanded into different variations of itself and, over Time formed the Universe. Makes sense, right? Lets move on. The Void (Genesis) Creation theory is much simpler to explain, and at the same time much more complicated because it delves into the mind of God. To put it plainly, creation theory is the belief that all things were created by God at the Beginning. Genesis states that in the Beginning there was The Void and God was the Void and the Void was God. If youll notice, this theory still believes in that nothingness previously describedthe only difference here is that nothingness had a consciousness. It was Aware. So, nothingness and God are actually the same thingquite literally, everything (remember, first there was only the Void). Now, following this logic, nothingness became reality. Genesis describes this as a Seven Day process, but remember that nothingness has no Time so a Day means absolutely nothing. Keeping this in mind, we see that Genesis is not very different from the above image of the Big Bangit is a list of steps for the creation of the universe. But, does God need Time if it is everything? Further exploration is necessary. Duality and Unity This is going to be the most difficult part of this essay so I ask for your patience and an open-mind. For just a quick moment lets discuss the nature of Reality. After all, whether it is Creationism or Evolutionism the real focus here is the observation of the reality we all experienceright? Right. So, throwing our need to be correct aside, lets actually look at reality without bias or assumption. Reality (the world and our mind) is a complex mixture of equal and opposite perceptions. To put it simply, everything exists in a state of Duality. For Hot you have Cold, Light/Dark, Hard/Soft, Pleasure/Pain, Faith/Fear, etcthis state is constant, without it there would be no experience and no reality. How could you experience Hot if the experience of Cold didnt exist? The tricky part about understanding the Beginning is that this concept does not fall into Duality. What I mean here is that The Void is one thing. This nothingness is still something, but there is only one of it. One thing does not have Dualityit is simple Unity. This is the biggest stumbling block in our understanding of God, Reality, or Creation. We cannot grasp how One Thing (nothing) became so many variations of itselfhow did Duality come into being? There is only one answer to this, and it lies in your existence. One thing cannot be two things, but it can be perceived as two things. Unfortunately, for that to be true there must be a perceiver...thats you. But who was the perceiver in the Void? God and Us Lets assume, for the moment, that this nothingness I have been referring to was actually conscious. Now, as one thing, this consciousness would only be aware of itself. It would not be aware of anything else or the possibility of anything else because it is everythingthere is no space or time, there is simply nothingness and the awareness of its existence as that nothingness. This is Unity. But, to experience anything, Duality must existand so that consciousness had to perceive itself to be two things. For the first time, the Void was perceived (very important) as separate. There was now a Perceiver and a Perceived. Before I continue, I would like to point out something very important about this consciousness. Our understanding of this consciousness is entirely dependent upon our own beliefs and limitations. We are talking about nothingnessinfinitely adaptable (it can be and is the foundation of everything), eternally present (how can something that is everything ever die?), and completely and utterly free (there are no rules to follow). Knowing this, a possibility opens to us. What would you do if you were God? Quite simplyyou would do everything. Everything covers a lot of things, I cannot begin to cover them all, but for the purposes of this exercise let us say that God wanted to experience. The perceiver wanted to perceive every possible variation of itselfwith Eternity to play with, wouldnt you? Remember that this consciousness can never truly die, it has nothing to fear and nothing to loseit is everything and always will be. And so, it has no biasGood or Bad, experience is the only goal. I realize that I keep stating this, but it is really very important to grasp this concept of being everything. Ill use an example just to be clear Currently, you have a countless number of possibilities that can move in and out of your mind. You can imagine purple skies, chocolate cars, and even entire experiences that you are not currently experiencingwe call this imagination, but to a consciousness that is everything there is no such thing as imagination. The mind of God is The Void; therefore any possibility that enters the mind of God is made real because it is within the Void (the building blocks of everything). Think about this, to a mind with no limitation, how many possibilities could exist? An infinite amountquite literally, anything that could exist does exist because all that is real is within the Void (there is nothing else, remember?). Now, doing everything doesnt just imply playing basketball or fishingthese are actions and not complete experiences. A complete experience is not just the action but also the state of mind of the perceiver. This state of mind includes belief, thoughts, doubts, memories, imagination, and even self-imposed limitations. What am I saying? Im saying that God, in wanting to do everything, wanted to experience every possible variation of self-awareness. There are 2 extremes here and an infinite amount of variations in between. < - - Complete Awareness Complete Denial - -> Basically, God not only wanted to experience being everything, it very much wanted to experience what it would be like to not be everything. It wanted to experience what it would be like to be complete unaware of its own divinity. Now, of course, God will always be God (everything cannot stop being everything), but because it perceives itself to be separate from the Void it can absolutely convince itself that it is something else. This is the freedom of an unlimited consciousness...it can believe whatever it likes. The Moment and Time This is the final step in our exploration of Creationism and Evolutionism because this is where they meet. They meet in the concept of Time, remember? First, lets look at The Moment. In The Void (or the Beginning) there is no time. Eternity and a single Moment are the same thing. When Duality was created there was a mass explosion of possible Moments that entered the mind of God (we call this Reality or the Universe). All of these Moments, of course, are still within the Void and therefore exist in the same place or time. Hard to grasp? It should be. Now, remembering that Time does not exist in Unity, we must explore Duality to find it. The perceiver (God convinced it is separate from itself) exists in Duality, and because of that it can experience. But the very concept of experience is based on a series of Moments happening one after anotherso Time must be perceived. The most unbelievable part about this is that, in an infinite amount of possible moments, there is an order to it. There appears to be a story to each of our lives. I mean, with all things existing at once, it is completely possible (to God, all things are) that a Dinosaur could fall out of your fridge at any timebut that doesnt happen, does it? Out of all the seemingly chaotic events in each of our lives there is also an order. Why? Because experience is a broad topicnot only does God want to experience each state of mind, it wants to experience every possible series of experiences as well. Basically, it wanted to be you and everyone else. And here you are, thinking it took you time to read this article, but in reality youve never left the Void. In conclusion, yes the universe was created in steps. Each variation of nothingness expanding into another variation of that same nothingness (see the Big Bang image above), but if God (everything) never left the Void, then those steps are only perceived to be separate from each other when, in fact, they all exist at once. So who is actually correctThe Creationists or the Evolutionists? Both, they are all the same Perceiver wanting to experience a different perception and state of mind. God wanted to experience everything, even disagreeing with itself. Interested in the author or further writings? You should be... forgetfulgod.blogspot.com Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Ray_Rheault http://EzineArticles.com/?Creationism-And-Evolutionism:-Two-Perceptions-Of-The-Same-Truth&id=356841 ambien cheap buy

Men's Platinum Wedding Rings

By Eric Morris Platinum is the metal equivalent of diamonds - it is said to last forever. In addition to being one of the world's rarest precious metals, it is also extremely durable. It loses virtually no metal when scratched, and weighs 60 percent more than 14 karat gold. A six-inch cube of platinum weighs almost 165 pounds. When used for jewelry, platinum is always alloyed with a second metal to give it strength, hold a high polish, and resist scratching. What is considered to be pure platinum actually contains no more than 5 percent alloy, and is often marked .95 Plat inside the band. Platinum with 10 percent allow can also be purchased, and may be marked as .90 Plat or similar. Platinum is an ideal metal for anyone with sensitive skin, because it is most commonly alloyed with iridium or ruthenium, both of which are precious metals in the platinum metal group. Platinum only very rarely causes an allergic reaction; however, to be safe, always consult a physician. Another reason that mens platinum wedding rings have become so popular is that the metal never tarnishes. Its intense luster will remain intact over the years, despite everyday wear. Further, it is not vulnerable to problems like stress corrosion or cracking. Just like diamonds, platinum is a very rare material. If all the platinum ever mined were compiled, it would only produce a cube 17 feet on each side less than 5,000 cubic feet. In addition, it takes up to 10 tons of ore to produce one ounce of platinum, which is more than twice as much ore that is typically needed for one ounce of gold. Mens Wedding Rings Info provides detailed information on diamond, platinum, titanium, gold, moissanite, unique, and comfort fit mens wedding rings, as well as wedding ring sets for men and women. Adding Switches and More to Your Oval Model Train Layout

By B. Murphy Let's see what you can do with an oval on a 4' x 6' board. The first step toward variety of train operation is a pair of switches. They usually come in pairs, a right-hand and a left-hand switch. You can tell which is which by looking at one from the end that shows only two rails.
If the curved section turns out to your right, it is a right-hand switch, if to the left, it
is a left-hand switch. Some switches are made to work by hand, with small throwing levers on each
switch. Others are actuated electrically by a control lever any distance awayon a
control panel, for example. Remote-control switches are more expensive than manual switches and are worth
the extra cost when a single operator must handle everything on a pike, including
switches at some distance from his train control on the transformer. If switches are within reach of the transformer, however, they can just as well be
manually controlled. If in addition to the "engineer" there is always a "switchman"
available, he can handle manual switches at some distance from the transformer. If you buy, in addition to your long oval, a pair of switches, two more curved
sections of track, and four straight sections, you can make add two sidings to your
oval. With this layout you can have two freight stations on the sidings, with cars sitting on
them waiting to be picked up by the locomotive. If you attach uncouplers to the sidings, you can detach cars without touching them
just by pushing a button on a control box placed near your transformer.
Uncouplers can be attached to either straight or curved track with two-rail S-gauge
trains. If you like switching operations, you can buy another pair of switches, two curved
sections of track, and two half-length straight sections, and sidings to your sidings. The shortest sidings here are not very long, but they can hold a freight car or two,
which will make for complications and complications are what make model
railroading interesting. (That's just another way of saying that there is a great deal
to do!) At the risk of appearing a bit ridiculous but for the purpose of showing just how
much switching you can go in for on a 4' x 6' layout, you can even fit 5 levels of
sidings on both sides of your oval. Sidings are not, however, the be-all and end-all of railroading. You can use your
first pair of switches, if you wish, to make an inner curve on your oval. But you would like some sidings? Then add them to the oval with the inner curve. Or you can add a second inner curvemaking an oval within an oval. These are a few ideas for things you can do with a simple oval layout to make it
more interesting, while keeping the space required to a minimum. (Visit http://www.modeltrainreport.com/layout-examples.php to see diagrams of all
the layouts in this article) Bill Murphy offers advice about designing, building, maintaining and repairing model

Ideas - Weight Loss

By Tyler Brooker After writing about the fact that many people complain about being "fat", yet do nothing about it, I thought it might be a good idea to write one about a way you can lose weight. Well, maybe not any particular way, but a variety of ways. For starters, if you want to lose weight, you can take the obvious road - Jenny Craig. Why not? It has worked great for many, many people, including the inflated, and now slightly deflated, Kirste Alley. But some people are too embaressed to walk into a Jenny Craig. Maybe because people can see you do it, but thats beside the point. What else can you do? Take pills! Sure.... It too has worked for a great number of people. Weight loss pills are very common, and easy to get your hands on. There is many types such as Phentermine, Xenical, Bontril, Meridia and Adipex Diet Pill. But most people look for excuses not to do that either, as it can be embaressing if someone is to see you take them. Well then, that brings us to the perfect solution - WATCH WHAT YOU EAT! There is no need to pay all kinds of money for "Weight Watchers" or "Jenny Craig", or take embaressing weight loss pills, just simply take note of what you are eating, and try to take on some healthier habits. If you notice that you are eating alot of junk food, try and cut back. Try to change your snack foods to fruits and vegetables, or maybe even just eat less. Watch the amount of food you are taking in, and that in itself can give you results. For any other weight loss ideas, you can try the book store, a nutritionist, or consult your doctor. Feel free to reprint this article as long as you keep the article, this caption and author biography in tact with all hyperlinks. Will The Real Fitness Hormone Please Stand Up!

By Phil Campbell New Medical Research shows high-intensity exercise can increase the bodys natural production of the fitness hormone by 530%! When I completed the research phase for a health and fitness book in 2002, the bio-medical research was complete enough to draw hard conclusions about the type of fitness program that would make your body increase anti-aging, anti-MIDDLE-aging, and athletic performance improving HGH growth hormone - THE FITNESS HORMONE. However, the research didnt specifically test high-intensity sprints until now! NEW LANDMARK RESEARCH In a new study, researchers compared HGH growth hormone levels in several ways resting (for a baseline measurement), after a 6 second cycle sprint, and after 30 second cycle sprint. Researchers also measured growth hormone for hours afterwards to see how long HGH stayed in participants bodies after exercise, (The time course of the human growth hormone response to a 6s and a 30s cycle ergometer sprint, 2002, Stokes). THE RESULTS ARE INCREDIBLE! The 6 second sprint method did move HGH some, but didnt come close to the bodys potential to release this powerful hormone. The 30 second all-out effort sprint experiment increased HGH by 530% over resting baseline and 450% over the lesser intensity sprint. Like earlier research studies, HGH stayed elevated for 1.5 to 2 hours after the sprinting program. And according to the researchers at the University of VA, the HGH released during exercise targets body fat for up to two hours after training. (Impact of acute exercise intensity on pulsatile growth hormone release in men, 2000, Pritzlaff). This new research became the essence of my book; how to increase HGH through specific types of fitness training, and how to keep the fitness hormone in your body for two hours after training going after body fat. The Synergy Fitness anaerobic sprint workout can be performed in many different ways cycling, swimming, skiing, running, XC skiing, or even power walking. It can be performed in the gym on an elliptical trainer, stationary bike, recumbent bike, or a treadmill. What ever the method, the goal is to reach all FOUR critical HGH-release benchmarks during fitness training. This workout multi-tasks aerobic and anaerobic training during the same workout, and it takes about 20-minutes. (Details in Chapter 8, Accelerating Growth Hormone Release with Anaerobics) www.readysetgofitness.com MAY BE THE MOST POWERFUL HORMONE IN YOUR BODY HGH may be the most powerful fitness improving, anti-aging (and anti-middle-aging), body fat reducing, muscle toning, hormone in your body. And the FITNESS HORMONE can be increased by 530% with specific types of anaerobic fitness training. Natural is almost always better. And increasing the Fitness hormone naturally through exercise is the NATURAL choice! Thanks for reading! The History Of Aviator Sunglasses

By Cody Kahl Have you ever wondered where those cool big lenses and signature frame originated from? Maybe you are a little curious as to how aviation shades have gotten so big in recent years? In this article I will discuss how pilot glasses began, as well as how they got where they are today. After reading this you may just decide on getting a pair for yourself! The shades we know today were first created way back in 1936 by none other than Ray Ban. The reason they are known as aviator sunglasses is because they were developed specifically for pilots back in 1936. Pilots needed a good pair of anti glare sunglasses, and Ray Bans design satisfied this requirement perfectly. The design that Ray Ban came up with was actually modeled directly from the goggles being worn by the U.S. military at the time. Since the aviators debut, they have remained largely unchanged in design and are still standard issue for military pilots the world over. Maybe even more interesting is how aviation shades have literally taken off with the general public (no pun intended). Ray Ban started selling aviator sunglasses to the public a year after they were created; in 1937. During the years many different companies have now started making their own pilot shades -- Both name brand and no name sunglasses. Different technologies have also come into fashion Some of them stay and some of them go. For instance, have you seen those mirrored aviator glasses that were popular in the movie Top Gun? Those are a technology all their own. Even different lenses are sometimes used, but glass is still the most popular. Perhaps the biggest change has been all the different colors coming out. Blue, purple, and pink are just a few of the colors you can now find being sported on aviation glasses. Celebrities have also been boosting these shades reputation as of late - Many of the biggest stars can be seen wearing them. All of the above combined have contributed to the huge success of aviator sunglasses. We can only expect them to get even more popular in the near future. ***************************************************

Make a Home Made Kid Race Car

By Patricia Jensen Get ready for racing fun with this Home Made Kid Race Car! MATERIALS Rectangular Boxes - apple boxes, xerox paper boxes or similar
Colorful plastic or paper plates
Spray paint
Construction paper in assorted colors
Heavy ribbon
Staple gun
Brad fasteners
Craft knife
Glue and Masking tape
Markers
Foam letters and numbers to decorate INSTRUCTIONS: Prepare the Box - Start with one rectangular box for each party guest. If the box has flaps, cut them off with the craft knife. Turn the box upside down and cut out a square area on one side of the bottom (now the top of your race car) big enough to accommodate a child. Paint Your Race Car - Spray paint your box a bright color - red, blue, green, yellow, or orange. Attach "Suspenders" - Using the staple gun, staple heavy ribbon from end to end on either side of the box as "suspenders" to allow kids to wear their cars. Add Wheels - Choose four plastic plates to make two wheels on either side of the box. Use a contrasting color to the color of the race car box itself. Fasten the plates with brads so the wheels will turn. Add another plate on top of the box to make a functioning steering wheel. Add Headlights and Tail Lights - Cut two circles of yellow construction paper and glue to the front of the car for headlights. Cut two smaller circles of red construction paper and glue to the rear end of the car for tail lights. Make an Exhaust Pipe - Make an exhaust pipe from a toilet paper tube with crepe paper streamers. Attach the tube to the car by making a series of cuts around one end of the tube, flaring it out against the back of the car, and securing with masking tape. Personalize Your Race Car - using colored construction paper shapes, markers, foam numbers and letters. Now make a race track in your yard using caution tape, old tires, hay bales, or whatever. There are No Easy Weight Loss Solutions

By Ian Henman Weight loss solutions, one of the most searched for things in todays faced paced, quick fix society. Do you have your personal weight where you'd like it to be? I know I don't, and I think if you posed that question to a great number of people they would tell you the same thing. I conducted a survey not that long ago of college students asking this exact question, and you know what, the majority said they weren't happy with their current weight. If this is the feeling of college students how do you think the response would go from those of us that are in our 40's and 50's. The reality is it all comes down to our lifestyle and the choices we make day to day. What are you having for lunch today? Better yet what did you have for breakfast this morning? These are very important questions and they need to be planned meals with the right food if you're serious about weight loss solutions. There is no quick fix, although that's what most of us want, if you're serious about losing those pound you need to be serious about doing the work. Now most of you probably don't want to hear these same obvious recommendations again but lets go over a few of them. The most important of them all is diet, it's just not possible to eat what ever your heart desires and expect to not gain weight. What are you currently planning on eating for dinner tonight? If you were thinking of it in terms of weight loss solutions would you still have the same thing? If you want to lose weight, you need discipline. Now not to suggest you can never have junk food again, the key is to minimize intake, and everything in moderation. Eating right is the number one thing to staying fit, now followed closely behind to exercise. The best scenario, devote an hour a day to cardio, if you're schedule doesn't allow for this, do the best you can but don't let yourself off the hook easy. When we get right at the core of weight loss solutions, there isn't a quick fix. While many of us are looking for immediate gratification the natural healthy solution isn't out there. Just look at all the gad diets that come and go, if they all worked we wouldn't need more of them. You need to get off your butt, and get busy. If you're having trouble knowing where to start you can research a lot of good healthy diet plans, and exercise routines on the Internet. Take some time to plan your week for meals, and activity and make it happen. You'll find a vast array of weight loss solutions, as well as diet and exercise plans online, but you need to take the first step and find them, they won't ever find you. If you're struggling to find relevant weight loss information, or want to read some more articles about tips to lose weight visit our website at Weight loss tips. Understanding The Magic of Bluetooth Technology

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Jon_Arnold]Jon Arnold Bluetooth technology is a low-power, low-cost wireless technology for short-range radio communication between various fixed and/or portable electronic devices such as mobile phones, laptops, PDAs, cars, stereo headsets, MP3s, digital cameras, PCs and computer peripherals. Bluetooth also refers to the standard communication protocol (IEEE 802.15.1) specifically designed for this kind of short-range wireless communication. The core of Bluetooth technology lies in a low-cost 9 mm x 9 mm microchip that functions as a short-range radio link when inserted into an electronic device, making the device Bluetooth-enabled. Wireless communication between various bluetooth-enabled devices takes place via these radio links, instead of via cables as used in normal networking. Since Bluetooth technology uses radio signals, which are omni-directional and can be transmitted through walls and other obstacles, Bluetooth-enabled devices dont need to be in line of sight or be pointing at each other. Bluetooth radio modules operate in the open, unlicensed ISM (industrialscientificmedical) spread-spectrum 2.4 GHz frequency band, divided into 79 channels separated by 1 MHz each. To avoid interference from other signals, the Bluetooth signal hops to a new channel every time it transmits or receives a data packet, making Bluetooth connection robust and secure. The communication range of Bluetooth technology varies from 1 m to 100 m, depending upon the maximum power permitted (1 mW to 100 mW). Because of this channel hopping, there should not be a consistent problem with other devices using the 2.4 Ghz frequency band, such as old cordless phones. Each Bluetooth-enabled device can simultaneously communicate with up to seven other devices within a single personal area network, called a piconet. Each device can simultaneously belong to several piconets. Each device negotiates with each other via a defined device name so that each device can keep track of who it is communicating with. The device name to use when you are setting up your Bluetooth device is typically cleared stated in the accompanying device documentation. Bluetooth technology offers built-in security with 128-bit encryption and PIN code authentication. When Bluetooth products identify themselves, they use the PIN code the first time they connect, thereafter staying securely connected. Practical Applications of Bluetooth Networking Some of the popular applications of Bluetooth technology are in wireless networking between a mobile phone and a laptop/desktop, between a mobile phone and a hands-free headset, between PCs in a restricted space and between the input and output devices of a PC (e.g., mouse, keyboard, printer). Bluetooth technology can also be used to transfer files, images and MP3 files between mobile phones or between MP3 players/digital cameras and computers. Limitations of Bluetooth Technology Short communication range (up to 100 m) is the greatest limitation of Bluetooth technology. Also, the data transfer rates are much lower compared to other wireless communication technologies. Susceptibility to interference from other devices operating in the 2.4 MHz band, notwithstanding adaptive frequency hopping, is another limitation. The Bluetooth technology is still not fully developed, so there is plenty of room for improvement. Bluetooth-Enabled Devices The Bluetooth wireless technology specification is available free-of-charge to Bluetooth member companies around the world. Many companies are interested in making their devices Bluetooth-enabled in order to avoid the clutter of wires with seamless connections and offer simultaneous transmission of data and voice as in hands-free talking. Bluetooth technology is commercially available in a wide range of applications such as mobile phones, automobiles, medical devices, play stations and many more. Jon is a computer engineer who maintains many websites to pass along his knowledge and findings. Money Matters-For Those Major Life Purchases-Get Your Financing Together First!

By Jim Hart Moneybased on my observations over the years I have learned that it pays dividends when considering large purchases like cars, homes, education and the like, to get your facts and financing together first. Nothing can be worse than purchasing large ticket items while you are carried away on an overwhelming whirlwind of emotion, which often accompanies these big-ticket purchases. The best way to minimize purchasing mistakes and errors in judgement is to get your financing together first. Lets take a quick look at a few of these purchases and how they can be best approached. Buying a home-if you are planning on buying or refinancing a home take the time to learn about the details about various loan programs on the market by talking to several lenders including both banks and mortgage brokers. There are a wide variety of conventional and governmental home loan programs (including FHA and VA loans) that may be more tailored to your short, medium and long range needs. One of the best things you can do is ask a bank for a free HUD booklet, which explains the fundamentals of home loans and how they impact you. Learn the financial speak and dont sign ANYTHING unless you (really) know what you are doing. Always be sure to talk to at least three loan officers and take notes, read loan literature, get pre-qualified for financing and understand exactly what you are doing BEFORE you look at homes. Doing so makes you a smarter buyer and less likely to make mistakes. Buying a car-it doesnt make any sense to me to buy a new car and lose thousands of dollars within minutes by driving it off the car lot. It makes more financial sense to buy a nice pre-owned car at a far less price of course, you want to have it professionally inspected by a third party (licensed mechanic) before you buy it. And the key is the time of year you buy the car. In my opinion the best time of the year to buy a car is January or February of each New Year. Heres why: A used car may be selling for $10,0000.00 on December 31 of a given year but on January 1 (the next day/the new year) it will not be worth as much as the day before because of the calendar change (.) Used cars tend to sell slower during this period of the year and your negotiating strength is highest. I like to think of this strategy as being prudent not cheap. Buying education-colleges are in the business of selling education. They have classes to fill and representatives to help steer students into those classes. Many people who go to school seem to follow the follower by chasing trends. Remember the rush to get a computer programming degree during the 80s? Everybody ran off to be a programmer only to find out (after they graduated) that much of the employment demand had been filled by the glut of computer graduates. Trends are like that by the time you hear about a hot job market and run off to get educated for it, the market is filled. So heres the key to selecting an education: What do you love to do? What would you do for free everyday? Thats probably a good starting point for selecting an education. America is a giant monopoly board and areas like business; law and medicine are good choices for education too. No matter what education you pursue you should (once again) get your financing together first. Request information from the schools of interest to you. Meet with their financial aid departments; find out about student loans and state and federal grants. Many communities have work incentive programs that offer education and training for unemployed or displaced workers, call your local Bureau of Employment and ask if they have sources for assistance. If you have a disability, you may want to contact your local Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (BVR) they have many programs that may be able to assist you or fund your education. Whether you are a parent of a child who is planning on college or an adult planning on going to school, dig in and research all your financial options (Dont forget the Internet!) And remember: Financing first! Copyright 2005

Planning Wedding: Beautiful Floral Arrangements To Cast Magical Spell On The Guests

By Javier Fuller A wedding is a part of perhaps the most beautiful moments of a couple's life. And every couple strives to make this occasion as beautiful as they can. In order to enhance beauty of the occasion, what really come in handy are flowers. Well, your guests would cherish the memory of mesmerizing floral arrangements in the wedding ambiance for long. Yes, a wedding celebration could be memorable if floral decoration is done aesthetically. Usually, by wedding flowers we mean bridal bouquet, flower bouquets (to be placed on reception tables) and floral adornments for the wedding or reception party. Nowadays, customized wedding ceremonies are on the block. An increasing number of couples want to enter into the wedlock in their own perceived style and fashion. Most often, they show earnest willingness for a unique theme wedding that they have dreamed for long. And flowers prove to be of great help in making their dream come true. For unique floral arrangement, it is always preferred to seek help of a florist having expertise in wedding floral arrangements. With the help of the florist, you should try to choose the best possible flowers to suit your theme wedding. For bridal bouquet, it is always good to take a picture of bridal dress to the florist. By making the florist acquainted with details of wedding including bridal dress, venue and ambiance, you can get best possible flower decorations in consonance with your theme wedding. You can go for a floral arrangement that happens to be a combination of real and silk flowers. However, a complete real flower decoration is much sought after because of natural fragrance of flowers that creates an enchanting atmosphere. Bridal bouquet must be chosen carefully as it happens to add elegance and charm to the bride. If you are going for theme wedding, you should keep your theme bridal gown in mind while choosing flowers for the bouquet that you would carry on the wedding. If bouquet doesn't go well with your bridal dress, your entire theme would be at stake. On the other hand, a bouquet that perfectly gels with the dress would give you a complete look. While choosing flowers, you must not compromise on sobriety of the occasion. But, flower selection to great extent would depend on the kind of wedding that you are planning for yourself. If you are longing for an exuberant and informal wedding, you can suggest your florist to use flowers of vibrant colors as these colors depict fervor and vitality. For a traditional church wedding, it is recommended to do floral arrangements with white and sober color flowers. You can make your wedding look very special with striking yet decent flower decorations. An artistically executed flower decoration would cast a magical spell on all present in your wedding. Liposuction: Sucking Money Out of Your Bank Account

By Ricardo Silva Statistics show the stress of life and poor food choices are leading to ballooning weights. Liposuction is a popular method of reducing weight, but it will also reduce your bank account. Liposuction: Sucking Money Out of Your Bank Account A big consideration for many people who are looking to undergo plastic surgery is the expense. All procedures that fall under this type of surgery are usually not covered by health insurance. When deciding to have plastic surgery, you'll need to know how much you will be spending. The expense of liposuction is especially important, as it is one of the most popular cosmetic procedures. Liposuction is a procedure used to remove unwanted fat from areas of the body that cannot be treated by other means. The fat is vacuumed out through a small tube called a cannula, which is worked through a tiny incision in your skin. One of the first considerations in the expense of liposuction surgery is the area you are going to have worked on. Depending on the size of the area and the amount of fatty material needing to be removed, the price will vary. Most of the time, the more removal required, the higher the price of the liposuction. This is usually because it takes more time. The expense of liposuction will also be different depending on the number of areas you want to have addressed. The first area in a liposuction procedure will often be the most expensive, with additional areas being less expensive because you have already paid for the facility, instrument, doctor and other fees. Also to be factored into the expense is where the liposuction surgery will be performed. If you need to have your procedure done in a hospital versus in the plastic surgery office, there will be additional fees for the use of the hospital facility, and recovery rooms for the duration of your hospital stay. The expense of liposuction will also depend on what part of the country you are in. Some doctors in bigger cities or more popular plastic surgery areas will charge more money than surgeons in other locations. Frankly, it is because they can get it. Finally, you want to find out what is included in the fee. Many doctors offer a flat fee that covers the procedure as well as pre-operative appointments and post-operative checkups. Other doctors will bill these items separately, so when pricing procedures, be sure to keep this in mind. One doctor may seem more expensive than the other, but if everything is included, it might actually even out. In general, the expense of liposuction should run from $2,000 to $7,000. These figures, however, can vary wildly depending on what exactly is to be done and the part of the country you are in.
